Vietnam’s Global Ranking of business environment
Vietnam’s business environment and competitiveness have been improved significant in modern days.
Vietnam moved up 14 places to rank 68th among 190 economies in the World Bank (WB)’s Doing Business 2018. Doing Business captures 10 important dimensions of regulatory environment: starting a business, dealing with construction permits, getting electricity, registering property, getting credit, protecting minority investors, paying taxes, trading across borders, enforcing contracts and resoling insolvency.
According to Global Competitive Index 2017-2018 released by World Economic Forum, Vietnam ranked 55th/134 economies. The rank is elaborated through following aspects compared to China, Singapore and certain developing countries in ASEAN:
